To help center myself for the trip, I developed this list of goals:

1. Have fun

2. Work on tan
3. Meet locals
4. 1000 Qs --> 6 to 160M

5. Work 50+ countries
6. Work PSK31

Please notice that ham radio does not make to the top half of my list.  Don't get me wrong, I will be on the air; most likely alot.  But, there are more important things in life than ham radio.  And I really need this long vacation.  For those of you playing at home it has been over ten years since I took two consecutive weeks of vacation time.
